Once in a while you need a sign – that everything you are doing is going to work out fine.
I had one of those days yesterday – when nothing seemed to be going my way.
Then I decided to open a box to have a look – which on it said ‘Mum’s old books’.
And there lurking deep down inside – was one I had not previously ever espied.
I felt myself holding my breath – when on the title my eyes met.
A word that jumped out I couldn’t believe – so I reached down to the book for it to retrieve.
It was one I had been for an age been searching – not realising how much for it I had been yearning.
The book to some will be a familiar one – but to me it meant all doubt could be gone.
For it to appear totally out of the blue – I know now the path I walk is still straight and true.
